Job summary

Cleaver-Brooks Sales and Service in Dallas, TX is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist to lead HR delivery at the site level, handling employee relations, onboarding, talent management and policy administration.

You will partner with managers, administer benefits, payroll liaison, training, performance management, and ensure compliance across multiple locations. Strong communication and HRIS experience required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
  • 5–7 years of HR experience.
  • 3–5 years partnering with department leaders to implement HR tools.
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a results-oriented environment.
  • 3–5 years learning and utilizing HR technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Administer recruitment, classification reviews, compensation studies, employment analysis, leaves and benefits administration.
  • Collect and analyze HR data, track trends, and prepare reports.
  • Coach managers on employee relations and action plans.
  • Manage unemployment claims and legal requirements.
  • Provide guidance on performance improvement and disciplinary actions.

Job description

Cleaver Brooks Sales and Service is looking for a Sr. HR Generalist to join our team in Dallas, TX. The Sr. HR Generalistis responsible forongoing execution and delivery of Human Resources functions at an operating company level with multiple locations. This includes employee relations, hiring, onboarding, talent management,policy administration,performance management, terminations, reporting/analytics, benefits, leave administration, EEO/ AAP, COBRA, training, orientation,HRIS Utilization and Administration at the company level,and other tasks generally performed by Human Resources at this level.

Essential functions:

  • Administer functions, including recruitment, classification review, compensation studies, employment analysis, leave and benefits administration
  • Collect and analyze data - tracks trends and developments in assigned functional areas, conducts studies, performsresearchand prepares reports related to HR responsibilities
  • Research, coach, and counsel managers, supervisors, and employees on employee relations mattersand recommending plans of action
  • Manage and respond to unemployment claims and various regulatory/legal requirements
  • Providemanagement/supervisor guidance on performance improvement and disciplinary actions
  • Interpret, develop, and administer policies and procedures
  • Responsible for new hire orientation and benefits enrollment support
  • Liaison/Partner with payroll representatives toassuretimelyand compliant information
  • Special projects that mayinclude:developing training programs, safety program administration, wellness programs, etc.
  • Work in conjunction to support training and development initiatives and activities
  • Provide generalassistanceand support to all co-workers
  • On-boardingof new co-workers
  • Coordinate Open Enrollmentmeetings, wellness eventsas well as other benefit related activities
  • Work in conjunction with Corporate, General Mangers as well as outside sources to advance recruitment and outreachactivities.
  • All other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:

Education:

  • BachelorsDegree in Human Resourcesor related fieldrequired.

Experience (Required):

  • 5–7years experiencedirectly in Human Resource functions.
  • 3-5years experiencein partnering with various department leaders to discuss challenges facing them andutilizingthat experience to apply HR tools to arrive at solutions to those challenges
  • Proven ability of multi-tasking inresults orientedenvironment
  • 3-5years experienceof learning andutilizingHR technologies

Experience (Preferred):

  • 1 - 3 years of experience with IFS
  • 2 - 3 years of experience with UKG
  • 2 - 3 yearsof Multi-Site/Multi-State responsibilities
  • HR experience in Manufacturing,Constructionand/or Service organizations
  • PHR certification

Travel Requirements:

  • Less than 25%

Physical Skill & Effort:

  • Limited manual dexterity required. Work requires infrequent physical effort.

Working Conditions and Hazards:

  • Normal plant, shop, field or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions.
