Sr. HR Compliance Specialist
The Human Resources Compliance Specialist implements, communicates, and maintains a corporate HR compliance program that is designed to identify risk, ensure adherence with all applicable HR related legal/regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as mitigate loss and protect the company.
Responsibilities
- Communicate the requirements of US compliance regulations to HR teams. Lead and advise the HR team in creating and enhancing processes and systems that drive compliance.
- Conduct US-wide HR audits on a regular basis. Identify gaps, analyze root cause and suggest best practice corrective actions.
- Oversee compliance reporting for all US regions. Partner with HR Centers or Excellence and Business Partners to design, implement and maintain their programs.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures. Review HR policies, programs and practices for regulatory compliance.
- Provide compliance training to the HR department.
- Support business development to ensure integration of HR compliance in acquisitions and integration efforts.
- Lead and support efforts to establish operational excellence within HR Compliance.
- In partnership with Bell Legal, review and provide guidance to managers and HR business partners for religious accommodation requests.
- In partnership with Textron E&C, administer and manage campaigns in the Compliance Training (CRC) portal.
- Stay current with applicable US HR-related laws, rules and regulations.
- Review and approve flyers posted at Bell facilities
- Manage the distribution and display of mandatory compliance posters
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Degree in Business/Human Resource and/or related discipline.
- Five years Human Resources or Compliance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Highly proficient in MS Office tools including Excel, Word, MS Access, and PowerPoint

- Possess solid expertise in HR technical proficiencies and core HR competencies.
- Commitment to maintain high standards of ethical conduct.
- Ability to identify risk and assist in finding creative solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interface at multiple levels; handle sensitive matters with discretion; and to apply strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-directed to handle multiple priorities, complex problems, and process issues.
- Proven project and change management skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills; experienced in policy writing and implementation.
- A highly organized and detail-oriented professional who can work independently, but who also functions as a team member.
