At Addison Group, we’re working with a client who is seeking a highly organized Sr. HR GRC Manager. This is adirect hireopportunity with a fullyremote structure. The role is ideal for someone experienced in HR project management, process ownership, and compliance within a dynamic, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead HR compliance and risk initiatives including policy audits and multi-state employment law monitoring.
• Manage classification accuracy (W-2 vs. 1099, exempt vs. non-exempt).
• Support ACA, benefits, and retirement compliance efforts.
• Administer onboarding and HR processes for a large freelance/contractor workforce.
• Ensure timely completion of HR-related legal documents and employee relations matters.
• Serve as point of contact for compliance inquiries tied to SOC 2 standards.
• Monitor policy alignment and regulatory changes affecting workforce operations.
• Support internal stakeholders with HR project tracking and documentation.
• Coordinate cross-functional compliance with legal advisors and third-party vendors.
• Assist in process optimization related to HRIS systems, invoicing, and vendor management.
• Contribute to a positive employee experience through engagement programs and clear HR communication.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of HR experience
• Proven project management experience within HR.
• Strong background in multi-state compliance, risk, and governance.
• Experience working with SOC 2 compliance or similar regulatory frameworks.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
