Job summary

Randstad USA in Addison, TX seeks a Senior Hands-on Tech Lead to own end-to-end delivery and guide a small agile team of developers, testers and a PO.

The role requires providing technical leadership and architecture guidance, removing roadblocks, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. You will define architectural vision and guardrails for POs and developers, supporting successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with Java, Spring, Mule, Architecture, Kafka, Oracle databases, and leadership experience.
• Strong experience in designing microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with Generative AI and AI tooling is a plus.

Job Summary

Responsible for End to end delivery and leading a small agile teams composed of developers, testers and a PO.

Expected to provide technical leadership/architecture guidance to the team, clear roadblocks, solve design challenges and collaborate with stakeholders.

Defining the vision for architectural solutions and providing guidance and guardrails for the PO's and developers to ensure timely and successful delivery

Well Versed in:

• 1) Java and backend frameworks:
• Java 8/ 21
• Spring Boot 2/3, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Batch
• Hibernate/JPA
• Multithreading, concurrency, JVM/GC tuning
• REST/SOA services, JUnit

• 2) Architecture Distributed Systems
• Solution architecture, HLD/LLD
• Microservices and distributed systems
• Event-driven architecture
• Domain-driven design
• Scalability, resiliency, security and observability
• Legacy-to-cloud-native modernization

• 3) Messaging : Kafka and/or MQ.

• 4) Databases:
• Oracle SQL/PLSQL

• 5) Generative AI / Agentic AI
• GitHub Copilot
• Prompt engineering
• AI-assisted SDLC concepts
