Job summary

Randstad Digital is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and web apps in Washington, DC. You will own end-to-end feature delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and observability using AWS cloud services and event-driven approaches.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring scalable RESTful APIs, Angular frontends, and serverless/cloud-native solutions. Familiarity with AEM or related Adobe tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with Angular and modern web technologies.
• Strong Java and Python programming foundations.
• Extensive Spring Boot microservice development.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and ECS.
• Knowledge of API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, EventBridge, Secrets Manager.
• CI/CD pipelines and event-driven architectures.
• GitHub for version control and Dynatrace monitoring.
• AEM or Adobe tools knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and modern web applications while leveraging cutting-edge AWS cloud services and event-driven architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, taking end-to-end ownership of full-stack feature delivery, automated CI/CD pipelines, and application observability to drive key client initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and deploy scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and build responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using Angular.
• Build and maintain serverless and containerized cloud applications on AWS utilizing Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
• Configure and support core AWS infrastructure, including API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, and Secrets Manager.

Qualifications

• High proficiency in Angular and modern web technologies.
• Strong programming foundation in Java and Python.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Spring Boot microservice development and RESTful API design.
• Demonstrated experience with core AWS services, including AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and Amazon ECS.
• Practical knowledge of AWS networking and application services (API Gateway, SQS, SNS, VPC, EventBridge, Secrets Manager).
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems.
• Experience with GitHub, version control workflows, and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe tools, GitHub Copilot, or Ionic is a major plus.
