Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to guide brand campaigns for live experiences. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to translate concepts into print, environmental, and digital design, ensuring brand integrity across projects.

Based in Las Vegas or eligible for hybrid work, you’ll mentor peers, present concepts, and drive high-quality design delivery while meeting tight production timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
• 6-9 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within live events or experiential marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; portfolio demonstrating brand campaigns and two-dimensional design.
• Experience mentoring or providing design direction to junior designers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and concept campaigns for live experiences, ensuring brand alignment.
• Translate concepts into press-ready files for handoff to production teams.
• Collaborate with Creative Directors and Design Directors on direction and execution.
• Present concepts to stakeholders, manage revisions, and iterate as needed.

Summary

A Senior Graphic Designer guides and/or conceives the development of graphic brand campaigns/systems for live experiences, including events, environments, exhibits, and supporting presentations. They work within a multidisciplinary team to manifest the client's brand expression through two-dimensional design.

This position will support our Creative team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:

Creative & Conceptual

• Can self-direct and work independently on projects of moderate complexity.
• For high complexity projects, develops informed graphic design solutions and explores concepts to shape the overall design approach and brand campaign direction, in collaboration with the Creative Director, Art Director, and/or Design Director.
• Develops and applies a sharp design eye for communicating brand messages with clarity and impact.

Brand Knowledge & Standards

• Translates design concepts into strategically viable, press-ready files for handoff to layout teams, on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Applies knowledge of brand standards whether conceiving original graphic systems or interpreting and building upon existing client or agency-established brands, ensuring consistency and integrity across all deliverables.
• Works with Creative Directors and Environmental Designers to align on design direction, and coordinates downstream with layout, production, and graphic asset management teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Presents (internally and externally) concepts that communicate design intent for approval, manages revisions, and resubmits as needed in an iterative process.
• Represents design intent in client-facing conversations, articulating creative decisions with confidence and clarity.

Quality & Production

• Contributes to the graphic design quality, coherence to design intent, and commitment to project schedules.
• Acts as a quality checkpoint for team deliverables, reviewing work against brand and production standards before release.
• Efficiently manages workload to ensure quality and timely completion.
• Capacity to support a heavy workload with a high-quality output.
• Proactively forecasts workload across simultaneous projects, maintaining quality delivery and communicating capacity needs to support team planning.

Tools & Growth

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office; serves as a resource for peers on tool troubleshooting and best practices.
• Stays current with AI tools relevant to graphic design and actively explores how they can be applied to improve creative work.

Team & Culture

• Informally mentors and supports designers across the team, sharing knowledge on production standards, brand quality, and craft.
• Contributes to a strong critique culture by offering thoughtful, constructive feedback and modeling openness to iteration.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, High School Diploma or Equivalent with relevant work experience required.
• 6-9 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within live events, experiential marketing, environmental design, or a related creative/agency setting.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated portfolio showcasing brand campaign development and two-dimensional design work across multiple applications (print, environmental, digital).
• Experience mentoring or providing design direction to junior designers is a plus.
