Qualifications

• Familiarity with Adobe Suite software, 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, and ACad or similar CAD software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Education in architecture, environmental design, retail design, interior design, industrial design, exhibit design, or experiential design.
• Experience is helpful but not as important as creativity, intelligence, and the right attitude.

Responsibilities

• Develop design visuals of concepts using 3D modeling, concept sketching, floor plan and space development, presentation layouts, and control drawings.
• Share design information quickly and efficiently with Graphic designers, Estimators, Engineers, and Production Managers.
• Effectively manage a team of unique individuals under constantly changing circumstances.
• Maintain strong design sense and demonstrate flexibility across each project.
• Present ideas clearly and professionally to colleagues, partners, and clients.
• Receive design direction from partners, clients, sales representatives, and design management.
• Work effectively under time constraints and meet deadlines.
• Maintain working knowledge of materials, technologies, construction techniques, and event production.
• Understand budgetary constraints and provide concepts within budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Creative Director is an integral part of the design staff, creating distinctive and imaginative environmental designs for clients. This role leads projects, partners closely with internal teams, and contributes to client communication while generally supporting the Creative team on a hybrid schedule.

Location and Work Schedule

• Location: Los Angeles, CA (hybrid)
• Hybrid schedule: generally requires in-office and/or show-site work 2 to 3 days per week
• Ideal candidate base locations: New York, NY; Las Vegas, NV; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Chicago, IL; San Francisco, CA

Salary and Bonus

• Salary range: USD 120,000 to 149,000 per year
• Annual bonus eligibility: up to 15% of base salary
