Job description

Job Title: Sr Full Stack Developer

Clearance Required: Public Trust - US Citizenship required for Federal Client

Work Location: Remote

Alpha Omega is seeking a highly skilled Sr Full Stack Developer for a remote position on a federal project in Arlington, VA.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and support both legacy and modern applications using Java/JavaScript, .Net/ASP, Node.js/Angular, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  2. Provide front-end and back-end support, including maintenance, service requests, and enhancements.
  3. Design and implement technical solutions, gaining stakeholder and team buy-in.
  4. Guide team efforts to ensure successful project delivery.
  5. Maintain high software quality standards within the team.
  6. Provide technical leadership through coaching, mentorship, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  7. Ensure smooth technical operations.
  8. Manage development team, technical approach, and software delivery performance.
  9. Support migration to and operation in Azure environments.
  10. Implement reliability and efficiency improvements.
  11. Create and maintain test and production environments.
  12. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  13. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  14. Support product development from inception to release.
  15. Respond to and resolve production incidents.
  16. Participate in root cause analysis and post-mortems.
Required Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or related field.
  • US Citizenship; at least 15 years of experience in large-scale application development and maintenance.
  • Expertise in Java, .NET/ASP, Node.js, Angular, Oracle, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD, and PaaS.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools like GitHub, Swagger, Selenium, JMeter, and scripting skills.
  • Hands-on experience with open-source technologies like HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS, jQuery, DataTables, Bootstrap, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
Salary and Benefits:

Estimated salary range: $130,178 - $200,000. Final compensation depends on experience, skills, certifications, education, and contractual considerations.
