Build the future of the AI Data Cloud with Snowflake

Join our team to help develop a compliant, secure, and auditable infrastructure for Snowflake in public sectors across various countries, regions, and industry verticals. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead key areas, collaborate with multiple engineering groups, and deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, privacy, governance, compliance, data security, and data residency.

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with customers to understand their challenges and design solutions
• Deploy and maintain cloud Linux servers and Kubernetes clusters in sensitive environments
• Implement software delivery pipelines supporting continuous delivery and compliance
• Ensure operational readiness, security, reliability, and performance of services
• Collaborate with product teams on requirements and SLOs for air-gapped deployments
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve network and system issues
• Automate routine operational tasks through scripting

Ideal Candidate:

• 6+ years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, especially in public sector deployments
• Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, Terraform, Pulumi, etc.
• Experience with database systems and internals
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Golang, or Python
• Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field; M.S. preferred
