Altamira Technologies is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our world-class Space Systems engineering team in Denver, CO. Candidates should have a solid foundation in object-oriented software development and experience working in a Linux or UNIX environment. A good understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to the software engineering lifecycle, design patterns, and object-oriented analysis, design, and programming is essential.

U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

Required Skills:

• Relevant experience in Java and/or C++ development for high-performance systems
• Experience developing complex software solutions in a Java environment
• Experience with Typescript, Spring Boot, React or Vue
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• API design and development in Java, Go, or Rust (Java preferred)
• Development of serverless and/or containerized software
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience working in Agile development teams with continuous integration and automated testing

Desired Skills:

• Java software experience
• Security+ Certification is a plus
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Full stack development with cloud deployment experience
• Cloud experience and AWS developer certification (EC2, S3, Security Groups)
• Scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Experience with DevSecOps tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, etc.)
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, etc.
• Database knowledge (e.g., MongoDB, Postgres) is a plus

Education & Experience:

• 8-12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
• 4-8 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in a STEM discipline
