Role Overview

As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be crucial in commissioning fire safety systems, ensuring their optimal performance, and interfacing with various trades for seamless project completion. You will also mentor less experienced technicians, fostering growth within our team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Testing and Verification: Conduct system operation reviews, final inspections, customer training, and prepare documentation for as-built drawings, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
2. Project Site Coordination: Support scheduling and coordination of trade contractors, adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years in installation/maintenance of commercial fire alarm systems
• Ability to differentiate wire types/colors, use hand tools, laptops, and carry tools up to 75 lbs
• NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level 3 within 12 months
• Valid driver's license, legal work authorization in the U.S., and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree in electronics or related field
• 5+ years in fire alarm systems installation/maintenance
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents
