Description

Idaho First Bank is excited to add a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to our growing team in Boise. We are seeking a data-driven problem solver who is passionate about designing and automating dashboards and reports. This individual will utilize data to provide meaningful insights to help stakeholders make smart decisions. The role will be heavily involved in the strategic and operational initiatives of a rapidly growing financial institution.

This position adheres to Compliance standards with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Essential Functions

1. Planning and Reporting
   • Drive the continuous improvement and automation of forecasting and reporting tools and processes
   • Develop and maintain KPIs and dashboards to deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance analyses
   • Support the coordination of the Bank's annual budgeting and rolling quarterly forecasting processes
   • Prepare business forecasts and results for executive leadership; assist in preparation of board materials
2. Analysis
   • Create financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, and provide follow-up reporting of performance against expectations
   • Utilize historic data to develop and update analysis of various customer and product-level activity
   • Support analysis and reporting to improve and maintain customer profitability and product pricing models
   • Utilize data analysis to drive continuous operational improvement and enhance reporting capabilities

Requirements

• 4-6 years of financial planning or operational analysis experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel (IBM Cognos a plus)
• Strong analytic, financial modeling, and data visualization skills
