Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner in Salem, NH to serve as a trusted financial advisor to a major business division. The role partners with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive profitability, forecasting, and strategic planning.

You will own budgeting, modeling, P&L analysis, and provide actionable insights to optimize gross margin, labor, and operating expenses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive Finance, FP&A, or Business Partnering experience.
• Manufacturing experience required.
• Experience owning or supporting a P&L.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic finance partner to business unit and operational leadership.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and P&L analysis.
• Analyze performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods and explain key variances.
• Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic decisions.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, HR, and Accounting on business initiatives.
• Analyze revenue, gross margin, labor, operating expenses, and capital expenditures.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to track KPIs and business performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, cost management, and operational efficiency.
• Present financial insights and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.
• Support pricing, investment, and commercial decisions with data-driven analysis.
• Ensure financial plans and reporting accurately reflect operational performance.
