Job summary

Honeywell International, Inc. seeks a Sr Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality service for combustion systems at customer sites. You will travel extensively and work remotely from our Cleveland, OH location, supporting customers nationwide.

You will perform testing, maintenance, and preventative services, identify and resolve issues, document work, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years technical knowledge of electronic, mechanical.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and service management software tools and schematic drawings.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing and able to travel 70% to 80% domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• After proper Honeywell-specific training, perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites.
• Identify and resolve technical issues to ensure safe system performance, efficiency and reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers in the field.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Job description

As a Sr Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality service and support to our customers by evaluating, testing, and maintaining complex combustion systems and equipment. You will utilize your technical expertise to identify issues and provide exceptional customer service in the field.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you will work out of our Cleveland, Ohio location on a Remote work schedule.

As the Sr Field Service Technician, you will impact customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by ensuring timely and effective resolution of service requests, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal teams. You’ll work remotely for our Honeywell facility at various customer locations. Travel is a must, expect 70% to 80% travel requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• After proper Honeywell-specific training, you will be expected to perform testing, maintenance, and preventative maintenance of combustion systems and equipment at customer sites.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Must be willing and have the ability to travel 70% to 80% to customer sites domestically and occasionally internationally
