What you'll do

The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving demand and pipeline growth through integrated marketing programs tailored to the public sector. This position will lead the execution of multi-channel campaigns-including webinars, content releases, events, and digital marketing-designed to engage target audiences and accelerate sales opportunities. Success in this role requires a strategic approach, strong collaboration with Sales and cross-functional marketing teams, and the ability to use data-driven insights to optimize performance. This role directly impacts business growth by developing and implementing high-impact marketing initiatives that convert interest into measurable pipeline.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director, Demand & Field Marketing.

Responsibility

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing programs, including webinars, content releases, events, and digital campaigns, to drive engagement and pipeline growth

  • Manage multi-channel demand generation strategies across digital, paid social, field marketing, and email to maximize reach and impact

  • Lead collaboration with Sales Development and Sales teams to align marketing initiatives with target accounts and pipeline objectives

  • Implement data-driven optimizations to improve campaign performance, ensuring continuous refinement of marketing tactics

  • Enable Sales and Sales Development teams with relevant campaign insights, messaging, and content to support effective lead follow-up

  • Partner with product and content marketing teams to refine messaging and develop compelling assets tailored to the public sector audience

  • Monitor program performance, analyze key metrics, and adjust strategies to address pipeline gaps and enhance return on investment

  • Coordinate with database and digital marketing teams to optimize audience targeting, lead nurturing, and conversion strategies


Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring

Basic

  • 8+ years experience handling demand and customer engagement programs for technology or software companies with a track record of successful results.
  • 3+ years experience planning and implementing Public Sector demand programs

Preferred

  • Public Sector experience
  • Strong understanding and experience with multiple demand channels, including digital, paid social, field, and email marketing to drive pipeline
  • Excellence in building cross-functional relationships and alignment, particularly with Sales leadership and Sales Development organizations
  • Metric-driven approach focused on setting and measuring key performance indicators
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to work cross-departmentally
  • Creative, collaborative, and resourceful
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Eloqua, Outreach, DemandBase, Folloze, and other marketing technologies
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual presentation skills

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $122,300.00 - $190,650.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $116,500.00 - $160,150.00 base salary

Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $116,500.00 - $168,200.00 base salary

Washington DC: $122,300.00 - $168,200.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
