Job summary

FNBO is seeking a Senior Facility Project Manager – Lead Construction to oversee multiple design, construction, renovation and move projects from design through completion. You will ensure work aligns with approved designs, budgets and schedules, coordinating designers, contractors and vendors across phases.

Responsibilities include maintaining scope, tracking changes, delivering compliant occupancy outcomes, and communicating progress to stakeholders in a timely, clear manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design & architecture, or construction management.
  • 7–10 years of planning and design and construction experience.
  • Proven track record on projects of $5M+ and strong PM skills.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Manage design, construction, renovation and move projects from design to completion.
  • Monitor budget, scope and schedule; manage documents, contracts and change orders.
  • Coordinate architects, engineers, vendors; ensure occupancy certificates.
  • Report progress and risks to stakeholders; drive timely decisions.

Please see below the details of this career opportunity and how it fits into our organization’s success.Summary of the Job:Sr Facility Project Manager – Lead Construction is accountable for managing and directing multiple design, construction, renovation and move facility projects from design to completion. Manage facility projects ensuring each is within target budget & delivered on time (schedule and budget). Projects include but are not limited to: prior year carryover projects, new projects for current and upcoming year as well as small moves & support work as needed throughout the year.About This Role:Manage and direct multiple design, construction, renovation and move facility projects from design to completion on time and within budget. Additional accountabilities include:Ensure projects are executed per the approved designs/plans & aligns to the BU's needs, using appropriate standards, schedules, scopes, budgets, contracts, inventories & documentation.Coordinate all parties involved in the planning, design and construction process during project implementationMonitor and maintain project budget, scope and schedule; Manage Design documents, correspondence, contracts, change orders, etc. and assemble project resourcesCoordinate vendor/supplier activities; obtain punch list resolution, lien waivers & certificate of occupancy prior to final payment.Proactively identify issues & decisions that require resolution to keep the project on track.Provide clear, timely and consistent expectations & communication updatesUse project management tools to successfully manage multiple projects with competing resourcesManage facility projects ensuring each is within target budget & delivered on time (schedule and budget).Projects include but are not limited to prior year carryover projects, new projects for current / upcoming year and small moves & support work as needed throughout the year.Collaborate and partner with aligned business units and other stakeholders to develop acceptable solutions and timelines to key initiatives and projects.Participate in YE Strategic Summary Forecasting and quarterly division reviews as well as ongoing and ad-hoc project planning activitiesResults driven individual with experience managing complexity across a diverse set of environmentsContinuously meets strict deadlines and produce high quality deliverables, while requiring and motivating others to do the sameProblem solve and develop solutions to issues with a strategic and execution mindset, critical thinking, that will arise during the roll out of new strategic initiatives and project work.Results driven individual with experience managing complexity across a diverse set of environmentsComplete special projects as assigned within allotted time frames.Required travel of up to 15-20% throughout year as neededPlan and allow time for educational seminar/course and/or networking.Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. Complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls, as required. Report any known violations of compliance policy, law, or regulations. Report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.The Ideal Candidate for This Role:Key Skills:Excellent working knowledge of project construction budgets and controlAbility to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, sketches, drawings, and working systems and componentsAbility to facilitate project planning and design and construction related meetings, presentations, and updatesExcellent people management skills including resolving conflicts, coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance managementKnowledge of Project Delivery Model and tools to develop and integrate product line functional and space programs, master plans, conceptual designs, project schedules, and agency impact analysisExtensive knowledge of facility design and construction processesAbility to direct and monitor performance of external service providers, such as architects, consultants, preconstruction service providers, and contractors, throughout each phase of design and constructionKnowledge in developing preliminary Scope & Project budget estimatesProficiency with large-scale relational databases and statistical programsProficiency with process reengineering techniques and tools such as process flowcharts, pareto diagrams, cause-and-effect diagrams, and control chartsMinimum Qualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, design & architecture, or construction management, and/or equivalent experience required7-10 years of experience related to planning and design and constructionExtensive project management and planning experienceDemonstrated success in past construction projects of $5 million or moreConstruction management experience preferredCandidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.Compensation:Compensation range (base pay): $81,662.00-$134,741.00This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience, education, and/or skill level.Work Environment:It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work in a hybrid capacity, balancing in-person collaboration three (3) days a week with remote flexibility two (2) days a week.
