About the Role

Ready to make an impact? Lead facilities operations for a high-profile, 1.4 million square foot corporate portfolio in New York City. As a Senior Facilities Manager with CBRE, you'll serve as the strategic leader overseeing two large-scale office buildings for a premier client in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) sector.

In this highly visible role, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, delivering an exceptional workplace experience, and ensuring the highest standards of service across the portfolio. You'll lead vendor operations, manage financial performance, oversee compliance initiatives, and partner closely with client stakeholders to support business objectives and long-term planning.

We're seeking a proactive, customer-focused leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively balance strategic priorities with day-to-day operational demands. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, skilled relationship builder, and trusted advisor who can influence stakeholders, solve complex challenges, and continuously enhance facilities performance.

This is an opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic, mission-critical environment while leading one of CBRE's premier client accounts.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the delivery of workplace and soft services across the portfolio, ensuring an exceptional experience for employees, visitors, and client stakeholders.
  • Manage and oversee vendor performance for services including janitorial, mail services, reception, conference services, pantry, landscaping, pest control, and other workplace support functions.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders through regular communication, business reviews, and proactive resolution of service-related issues.
  • Drive service excellence by establishing performance standards, monitoring key metrics, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage operating budgets, track expenses, review invoices, and support financial reporting to ensure services are delivered efficiently and within budget.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to evaluate service quality, workplace conditions, and overall client satisfaction.
  • Partner with landlords, property management teams, and internal stakeholders to coordinate facilities-related activities and workplace initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, environmental health and safety requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the workplace experience, improve operational efficiency, and elevate service delivery across the portfolio.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to onsite team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer service excellence.
  • Coordinate workplace events, occupancy initiatives, and employee engagement activities that support the client's culture and business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the client, balancing strategic priorities with day-to-day operational needs while delivering a best-in-class workplace experience.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5+ years of experience in facilities management, workplace experience, hospitality, property management, or a related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience managing soft service programs and vendors, including janitorial, reception, conference services, mail services, pantry operations, and other workplace support functions.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, track expenses, review invoices, and support financial reporting and forecasting activities.
  • Demonstrated success leading, coaching, and developing teams while fostering a culture of accountability, customer service, and operational excellence.
  • Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate complex situations, and deliver exceptional service.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to effectively convey information to employees, vendors, clients, and senior leadership.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-profile corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements.
