The Export Specialist performs administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping of finished goods, receiving of incoming materials, and inventory accuracy. Communicates and coordinates with transportation companies. Handles routine questions and problems and maintains open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle. Confirms the accuracy of all freight quote, export paperwork to include; commercial invoices, SLI (shippers letter of instruction), DG (dangerous goods) documentations, and ACE filings. Transacts all shipment in our ERP system and files and distributes paperwork, as necessary. Maintains records per government regulations. Responsible for ensuring effective import and export compliance at multiple business units falling under assigned scope, in accordance with U.S. and international import and export laws and regulations and Rapiscan import and export compliance policies and procedures.
Pay may range from $33.66 to $36.06 per hour. The pay range above represents hourly salary rate only. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as your job level, geographic location, date of hire, experience, job-related knowledge and skills, and education in conjunction with market and business considerations. Base salary is one component of your total rewards package. You may be eligible for long-term incentives, potential discretionary bonuses, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discounted rate through the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP).
