Job description

Yutori Method™ is managing the recruitment for this role.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Sherman Oaks, California, supporting Dan Granger, CEO of Oxford Road.

About The Company

Oxford Road is a leading advertising and media agency specializing in performance-driven marketing for ambitious brands. The company operates at the intersection of media, creative, analytics, and growth, helping brands build influence and drive measurable business outcomes.

The organization is entering an important stage of growth and evolution. With a deeply experienced leadership team, a highly active external presence, and an expanding portfolio of client, industry, and thought-leadership initiatives, Oxford Road is continuing to strengthen the executive infrastructure that supports its next chapter.

The Opportunity

As Senior Executive Assistant / Administrative Business Partner to the CEO, you'll become a high-trust, high-judgment partner responsible for building and running the executive operating system around Dan Granger.

You'll own the flow of the CEO’s professional world: his calendar, inbox, executive communications, meeting rhythms, information flow, preparation, decisions, and follow-through, while helping create the structure that allows him to operate at his highest level.

This role goes beyond traditional calendar and administrative support. You'll learn their priorities, communication style, relationships, and decision-making patterns deeply enough to anticipate needs, resolve routine matters independently, protect his attention, and ensure the right issues reach him at the right time and with the right context.

You'll take on meaningful executive-orchestration responsibilities, helping maintain connectivity across the leadership team while supporting the CEO’s growing focus on strategic partnerships, thought leadership, external relationships, and enterprise-level priorities.

Why This Role Is Exciting
  • Build a true long-term partnership with a highly engaged, fast-moving CEO
  • Own and continuously improve the executive operating system around the CEO
  • Move beyond reactive support into proactive prioritization, judgment, and executive leverage
  • Become deeply embedded in the information flow and operating rhythms of Oxford Road's leadership team
  • Help translate conversations and decisions into clear ownership, action, and follow-through
  • Support board meetings, major client interactions, industry events, thought leadership, and other high-impact initiatives
  • Use AI, automation, and strong systems thinking to improve how executive work gets done
The Right Fit

You are an exceptionally experienced executive partner who combines service orientation and attention to detail with confidence, business judgment, and the ability to hold your ground.

You're comfortable supporting a CEO who moves quickly, thinks out loud, generates ideas constantly, and operates across a wide range of priorities. Rather than simply keeping pace, you create structure around that pace. You know when to protect time, when to push back, when to ask a question, when to make a decision yourself, and when something truly requires the CEO's attention.

You're energized by being close to the center of a business and take pride in making the people around you more effective.

You are someone who:

  • Has the confidence and judgment to operate as a trusted partner to a fast-moving CEO
  • Can anticipate needs and act without waiting for step-by-step direction
  • Protects executive time and priorities while remaining adaptable when circumstances change
  • Communicates with polish and discretion across executives, board members, clients, partners, and internal teams
  • Can learn an executive's voice well enough to draft and send communications on their behalf
  • Creates order from a high volume of conversations, decisions, commitments, and competing priorities
  • Is comfortable moving between strategic context and highly detailed execution
  • Follows through relentlessly and notices when something is at risk of falling through the cracks
  • Uses technology, AI, and automation naturally to improve workflows and reduce unnecessary manual work
  • Values a high-trust partnership and is interested in growing alongside an executive for the long term
Job Responsibilities
1. CEO Enablement & Executive Administration
  • Own the CEO's professional calendar, inbox, executive communications, and daily priorities, proactively protecting his time, resolving conflicts, routing requests, and ensuring the right issues reach him with the right context
  • Build and maintain a reliable system for capturing decisions, commitments, actions, owners, and deadlines across meetings, calls, messages, and informal conversations, including preparing and leading the CEO's daily 360
  • Oversee business travel and coordinate relevant personal priorities that affect the CEO's schedule, while maintaining context around key relationships, commitments, preferences, and required follow-up
  • Manage the operating cadence for Executive Leadership Team meetings, CEO direct-report meetings, one-on-ones, and other executive meetings, including agendas, preparation materials, scheduling, and CEO preparation
  • Attend key meetings, capture decisions and action items, and drive follow-through across owners, deadlines, dependencies, and unresolved issues
  • Maintain visibility into cross-functional priorities and decisions requiring executive attention, helping create consistent operating rhythms even during periods of travel, events, and high intensity
3. Board, External Stakeholder & Special Project Leadership
  • Manage preparation and coordination for board meetings, major client and prospect interactions, pitches, and other high-stakes engagements, ensuring the CEO has the necessary context, research, materials, and talking points
  • Coordinate the CEO's external leadership portfolio, including professional organizations, media, speaking engagements, conferences, podcasts, industry events, and thought-leadership commitments
  • Lead assigned special projects from planning through completion, conducting research and translating the CEO's ideas and direction into polished presentations, frameworks, reports, recommendations, and other executive deliverables
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve the systems, SOPs, templates, checklists, and operating guidelines that support the CEO and broader executive-support function
  • Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and better processes to improve meeting preparation, inbox management, task capture, reporting, follow-up, and knowledge management
  • Coordinate and quality-check work delegated to administrative and personal support resources, creating greater consistency and reducing dependence on institutional knowledge
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience supporting a CEO, founder, or senior executive as a Senior Executive Assistant, Administrative Business Partner, Junior Chief of Staff, or comparable role
  • Demonstrated experience operating in a high-trust executive environment with significant autonomy and discretion
  • Exceptional calendar, inbox, communication, prioritization, and follow-through skills
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to distinguish between matters that can be resolved independently and those requiring executive involvement
  • Experience coordinating executive and leadership-team meeting rhythms
  • Strong project-management and systems-building capabilities
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt to an executive's voice
  • Experience with board processes, executive travel, and high-stakes stakeholder preparation
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using ChatGPT or comparable AI tools and AI-enabled meeting or transcription platforms
  • Experience with project and task-management systems
  • Experience in an advertising, marketing, or media agency environment preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Logistics and Compensation
  • Employment Type: Full-time
  • Expected Hours: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM PT, with flexibility required based on the CEO's schedule, board meetings, travel, major events, and time-sensitive priorities
  • Expected Start Date: 11/2/26
  • Travel: Quarterly travel with the CEO may be required
  • Compensation: $130,000 base salary plus performance bonus
  • Benefits: Details will be shared with finalists
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
