Insurance Underwriter - Environmental Pollution Liabilities Specialty Program

REMOTE WORK FROM HOME

Analyze and underwrite new and renewal environmental business within delegated authority levels on highly complex assignments while ensuring a high level of service to customers.

Environmental Insurance Lines & Classes include: Environmental General Liability Exposures; Premises Pollution; Premises Pollution Healthcare; Environmental Impairment Liability (EIL); Pollution Legal Liability (PLL); Contractors Environmental Liability, Professional Liability, Storage Tank and Transmission Liability; Chemical Risks; etc.

Responsibilities include:

1. Making agent, broker, and customer on-site calls.
2. Proactively seeking renewal and new account opportunities.
3. Completing opportunity assessments with key distributors to identify growth opportunities.
4. Qualifying accounts to meet organizational appetite.
5. Negotiating terms & conditions and closing deals.
6. Participating in sales meetings related to assigned brokers.
7. Updating required systems with details of broker and client visits, and account status.
8. Serving as the key contact for assigned target accounts.
