Job Title

What You'll Do

• Perform pre-funding quality control review of loans from the Retail and Correspondent divisions.
• Participate in the remediation of identified defects with Operations and Correspondent Sellers.
• Monitor progress of action plans based on quality control findings and results.
• Communicate identified defects effectively to internal and external parties.
• Assist in developing QC audit and project plans.
• Monitor QC project pipelines and analyze reports to ensure deadlines are met.
• Analyze reports and data to identify deficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for Quality Control questions.
• Participate in validation and remediation of monthly post-close QC and review findings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

• 10+ years mortgage industry experience, including 5+ years recent QC and Underwriting experience.
• Understanding of mortgage lending operations and industry, especially Quality Control.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, USDA guidelines, and Federal regulations.
• Basic fraud detection knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong prioritization, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across management levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).

Additional Information

Compensation: Hourly range generally $46.00 for Nevada. Salary varies by location. Role may include annual bonuses/incentives.
