Job Description : Sr Enterprise Account Director - Middle GA

Location : Macon, GA (preferred)

Reports To : VP of GA Enterprise Sales

Employment Type : Full-Time

Accelecom is seeking a full-time exempt Account Director responsible for selling into the Enterprise segment across Middle Georgia (GA). We value individuals who share our passion for success through a consultative selling approach, superior customer service, and solving business problems for the Enterprise industry. This role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities while managing existing accounts within an assigned region. The successful candidate will understand our customers' businesses deeply, craft tailored solutions, and secure orders.

The Sales Representative will develop and execute sales strategies across Healthcare, Transportation, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Technology Verticals.

Key Accountabilities :

Strategic Account Planning Experience :

  • Formulating and executing robust Vertical GTM & Account Plans
  • Developing & executing account-centric Contact Plans
  • Identifying & executing upsell & cross-sell strategies

Product Knowledge & Experience :

  • Transport solutions (Dark Fiber, Wavelengths & Ethernet)
  • IP solutions (IP Transit, DIA & DDoS)
  • Managed Services Solutions (Firewall / Router / WiFi & SD-WAN)
  • Voice Solutions (UCaaS & CCaaS)

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Industry Experience (Telecom or Data Center) : Minimum of 5 years
  • Sales experience : Minimum of 5 years
  • Mindset : Hunter role (vs. Business Development or Account Management)
  • Strong analytical & technical skills
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment / operate in the "grey"
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables & meet deadlines
  • Track record of meeting & exceeding annual sales quota
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong collaboration with internal teams (engineering, product, marketing)
  • Excellent presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 3 years selling into the Enterprise space
  • Minimum of 1 year selling into each of the following verticals: Healthcare, Transportation, Manufacturing, Logistics
  • Knowledge of BANT, TAS, and the Challenger Sales methodologies
  • Experience with Salesforce & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Occasional travel required for client meetings
