Sr. Engineering Technician

CACI is seeking Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering Technicians to support submarine maintenance-related engineering and planning efforts at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) in Kittery, Maine.

What You’ll Get to Do:

1. Develop, create, and review Job Summaries and Task Group Instructions (TGIs).
2. Assist with other Deficiency Form problems and prepare sales cost estimates.
3. Support 688 Class and 774 Class Submarine engineering and Deep Submergence projects.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, and at least 15 years of related Engineering Technician experience.
• Ability to obtain a Confidential clearance.
• Strong SHAPEC or DSSP experience.
• 15 years' experience with submarine and/or deep submergence systems.
• Knowledge of US Navy Shipyard applications including AIM.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and experience with MS Office suite.
• Technical training equivalent to an associate's degree is preferred.

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. It is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Applicants may be considered for other roles at CACI.

Pay Range:

This role is covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). Compensation will meet or exceed the minimum wages specified by the Department of Labor, adjusted for location and classification. The minimum hourly wage is $26.96.
