JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Our growing team is looking for experienced full-stack software engineers to help us build and maintain software systems in support of our business and partners. If you are an experienced software engineer with a passion for good design and architecture, with great interpersonal skills, we want you! The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting new software development efforts on the current .NET technology stack.

Responsibilities

1. Refactor and extend the existing codebase to fix defects and add features/functionality
2. Create systems that are durable and flexible by developing for change – favor configurability over customization
3. Architect and develop applications, workflows, and prototypes to meet business needs
4. Refine functional requirements and develop technical specifications
5. Generate technical documentation to communicate architectural and design decisions
6. Resolve defects during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release cycles
7. Communicate & collaborate cross-functionally across various teams, organizations, and stakeholders to drive engineering efforts
8. Perform other duties as needed.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree a plus
2. 5+ years of software development experience including a strong portfolio of secure, standards-compliant code across multiple platforms (Microsoft stack and open source technology)
3. Fluent in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL
4. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
5. Strong understanding of APIs and web service concepts such as REST and JSON
6. Experience developing RESTful APIs
7. Ability to handle a fast-paced environment for iterative project turnarounds on mission-critical, customer-facing applications
8. Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum
9. Experience with Git or similar source control tools

Extras

1. Knowledge of Kubernetes and creating Docker images
2. Experience working with Azure services like APIM, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, and Key Vault
3. Experience with Redis and RabbitMQ

Pay Range

The targeted base salary for this position is $121,400 to $173,300 per year. Final compensation depends on qualifications, expertise, and location.
