Job summary

Con Edison seeks a Senior Engineer - Compliance to serve as a technical expert and compliance contact for the Electrical Engineering group, ensuring timely and complete reporting. The role coordinates with subject matter experts to ensure procedures comply with NERC and regulatory standards, and participates in meetings to anticipate changes in standards.

It also prepares audit documentation and participates in audits, certifications, and spot-checks.

• Participate in meetings, working groups, and other compliance-related functions to identify upcoming changes to NERC standards.
• Complete NERC Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets and coordinate evidence for internal/external assessments such as audits, certifications, and spot-checks.

Job description

The Senior Engineer - Compliance will serve as a technical expert and compliance contact for the Electrical Engineering group to ensure timely and complete compliance reporting. Will be responsible for coordinating and working collaboratively with various subject matter experts to ensure engineering procedures/processes comply with NERC and other regulatory standards. The Senior Engineer Compliance (2H) will participate in meetings, working groups, and other compliance related functions to identify upcoming changes to NERC standards that may affect current engineering procedures or practices. Will be responsible for completing NERC Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets, coordinating evidence for internal/external assessments such as audits, certifications, and spot-check.
