Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Project Engineer for our West Customer Engineering team in Chandler, AZ, with 15-20% travel. You will lead safety initiatives, develop gas delivery system projects from proposal to startup, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team across geographies to deliver compliant, efficient solutions.

You will craft proposals, generate layouts, and work with contractors for permitting and fabrication, while aligning on continuous improvement with the customer’s needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project engineering experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA and CGA codes is preferred.
• Bachelor’s Engineering degree required; PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in the Basic Safety Program to drive the project team to meet safety targets in all phases.
• Craft technical proposals and provide maintenance support to Commercial Liquid Bulk Sales based on customer requirements.
• Generate detailed equipment layout and flow schematic drawings.
• Coordinate with outside contractors for permitting, construction, manifold fabrication, piping installations, and certifications.
• Participate in alignment teams to identify continuous improvement opportunities and efficiencies.
