Check out some of our benefits below!Affordable medical, dental, and vision insurance available day one of employment401(k) retirement savings plan with immediate vesting of company match and core contributionsPaid vacation, holidays, and sick timePaid parental leaveAdoption assistanceFlexible Spending Accounts (medical, dependent daycare)Health Savings AccountLife Insurance (AD&D), Supplemental AD&DEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Responsibilities:Handle and own the activities of the Facility Operations Team to ensure process safety, worker safety, environmental compliance, reliability, and cost optimizationLead and guide the Facility Operations Team in monitoring the daily operation of the facilities, including reviewing and optimizing energy usage for the plants, and mitigating any plant upsets and emergenciesWork with the Operational Excellence (OpEx) and Project Delivery (PDO) teams and be a key member of the Cocoa Project team during the design, build, commissioning and start-up of the new facilityCoordinate with the Internal Stakeholders to develop strategic plans for the assets and ensure capital investments and maintenance costs are well handledSupport turnaround and shutdown planning and execution through active participation in scope justification and development, and active leadership during the eventCoordinate with project engineering and the maintenance team on scope and execution timing for capital/maintenance projectsEnsure process safety and worker safety compliance by supporting process hazard analysis (HAZOP/LOPA), leading incident investigations (RCA), owning procedure development and improvement, owning management of change (MOC), ensuring emergency response preparedness, supporting alarm management, and assisting in work scope development and assessment of operability requirements for plant designsProvide development of direct reports and motivation of staff resulting in an engaged, reliable, and competent workforceCoordinate with Human Resources to ensure all Company policies, rules, and guidelines are being followed and administered in a fair and consistent mannerQualifications:An engineering education background would be an assetFive (5) or more years of experience in Manufacturing Operations, preferably in Industrial Gas, Refining, and/or ChemicalsTwo (2) or more years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role is requiredExperience in commissioning and start-up of new plants is a plusAbility to travel approximately 25% of the time.Proven leadership capability in safety, environmental compliance, quality, reliability, productivity, and employee engagementStrong technical knowledge of ASU plant operations, maintenance coordination, troubleshooting, and reliability practicesStrong working knowledge and experience in process safety programs including mechanical integrity, incident investigations (RCA), process hazard analysis (HAZOP/LOPA/OPHR), management of change (MOC), procedure development, and emergency responseProven ability to lead and influence direct staff reports as well as ability to lead by influenceStrong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders/customersProficiency with Microsoft Office applications is required; working knowledge of maintenance management systems (MMS/ERP) such as SAP is preferredAir Products proudly honors the skills, dedication, and leadership that Veterans bring.
