Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to management and staff on employee relations issues, performance, laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints related to harassment, discrimination, retaliation, ensuring thoroughness and compliance.
  • Review performance counseling for clarity, fairness, and legal compliance.
  • Conduct investigations timely, document findings, and recommend resolutions.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership to update and communicate policies.
  • Deliver training on ADA, HR compliance, employee relations, and discipline.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws including EEO, FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Workers’ Comp, NLRA.
  • Manage exit interviews, analyze trends, and report findings.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for case management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, or related field.
  • 5-7 years in employee and labor relations, especially in union environments.
  • Certifications like PHR or SPHR are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and dispute resolution.
  • Experience managing investigations and sensitive issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
