We're seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to analyze blueprints and specifications, calculate project costs, and prepare competitive bids for electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review blueprints and specifications to determine project scope.
2. Estimate material and labor needs, factoring in code requirements and site conditions.
3. Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and bid proposals.
4. Conduct site visits to assess job conditions and challenges.
5. Use estimating software (Accubid/LiveCount) for accurate cost tracking.
6. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and architects.
7. Ensure all estimates meet applicable codes and industry standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in electrical construction and/or estimating.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, theory, and NEC code compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Proficiency in electrical estimating software (Accubid and LiveCount).
• Strong math and analytical skills for quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• High attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to conduct site visits and assess real-world project conditions.
• Experience preparing competitive bids and detailed project proposals.
