Job summary

gpac is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer/Project Manager in Irving, Texas. The role focuses on leading electrical design for multi-discipline buildings, coordinating with clients and consultants, and delivering high-quality design and project management.

The position requires a P.E. licensure, a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field, and 8+ years of experience, with expertise in lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.

• Experience in building electrical design including lighting, power distribution, communications, and fire alarm.

Responsibilities

• Function as lead electrical engineer for multi-discipline projects, through all phases of process.
• Perform electrical design tasks and calculations for the electrical designs aspects of buildings.
• Coordinating project electrical requirements with each client as well as consultants both in-house and outside.
• Perform code reviews.
• Oversee projects and technicians.
• Establish and maintain electrical fees and provide budgeting for assigned projects.
• Work independently as well as in a multi-discipline team working closely to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
