We seek a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team (locations include Burnsville, MN; Faribault, MN; Houston, TX; Pointe-Claire, CA; Charlotte, NC). The role involves taking products from prototype to series production, focusing on power distribution, test equipment, backup power products, and energy storage technologies. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams.
• Design, prototype, develop, and commercialize products like loadbanks, generator stations, switchboards, switchgear, transfer switches, etc.
• Design wiring schematics and specify equipment for power systems.
• Create and review wiring diagrams, layouts, and BOMs.
• Define testing plans for new products.
• Lead electrical design during product development, including component selection and qualification.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in AC electrical system product design.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, EPlan).
• Experience with power distribution equipment design and documentation.
• Ability to specify and validate electrical components.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
