Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Lead Electrical Engineer to oversee and manage electrical engineering projects, ensuring the successful design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power distribution and instrumentation, along with extensive experience in SCADA and PLC systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop electrical wiring diagrams for sensors (pressure transducers, RTD sensors, flow meters, liquid level switches, etc.), and actuators (air compressor, pumps, VFDs, solenoid valves, proportional valves, mass flow controller, etc.).
• Design and implement electrical power distribution systems to meet project specifications.
• Specify, select, configure, and test low-voltage and high-voltage electrical equipment/instruments for petrochemical or pharmaceutical processes.
• Develop and oversee electrical instrumentation and control systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA and PLC systems into engineering projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, promoting professional development and technical proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in electrical engineering roles, with a focus on power distribution and instrumentation.
• Proficient in SCADA and PLC programming and implementation.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
