Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr
The Sr Director, Staffing Operations is a new area of responsibility within Compucom to drive efficiencies across staffing business landscape, help the staffing business profitably grow globally with significant focus in the US market & help optimize the cost/spend to yield savings. This role would also require assessment of tools, processes and technologies we use for staffing business and aligning them with rest of the Compucom model to drive standardization and cost savings. This role requires building stronger relationships with service lines and HR functions to evolve our staffing model to drive profitability and revenue growth in-house. This person will be responsible for developing a plan and roadmap & drive successful adoption to implement the vision and strategy of Compucom’s future staffing business model.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Staffing Sales Leader to help achieve 10% YoY growth in staffing revenue & HC
- In-house 50% of revenue & GM by the end of Y1 (revenue and GM that goes to 3rd party vendors today.)
- Strategize, develop a plan and execute consolidation of IT systems between legacy eXcell and Compucom (time sheets, communications, support, etc.) resulting in cost savings and enhanced employee experience
- Work closely with shared services to develop plans in using shared services resources for projects, backfills and BAU activities to increase utilization and GM
- Work closely with staffing sales team to provide help in growing the staffing business (campaigns, ease of hiring, etc.)
- Develop measurement and reporting of critical KPIs. Enhance Reporting- Create a better visual dashboard of key metrics for recruiting delivery
- Interface with customers as needed & act as a face of staffing delivery working closely with the account/program teams
- Optimize the delivery of staffing processes (recruiting, resource management, ATS/Timekeeping tools) by working closely with TA and delivery teams
- Cost Reduction- Determine areas to save money and implement practices that result in savings (i.e. conversion times, tools, etc.)
- Work closely with TA (Talent Acquisition) on
- Rules of engagement- establish clear parameters on how to engage, especially as it relates to using Fieldglass or CC Staffing
- Partner closely with Talent Acquisition to align recruiting strategy and execution with staffing delivery goals and broader business objectives
- Proactive workforce planning and alignment with forecasted needs. Outcome: no missed revenue due to unstaffed positions.
- Percent of roles filled via internal staffing measures (vs. external vendors). Outcome: Increased internal fulfillment rate = better control over cost and quality.
- Financials- Educate the PDs/AEs on the margin differences when choosing FG or CC Staffing.
- Innovation- Bring new ideas to the staffing division (ATS, job boards, AI tools, etc.)
- Canada/Mexico/India- Work with our international teams to structure the delivery of staffing outside US
- Collaboration & Culture-Continue the integration of staffing as a core offering and foster strong relationships with the PDs/SDs/AEs
- 30% Travel
Skills & Qualifications:
- Greater understanding of Compucom functions
- Understanding what market best practices are with tools, processes and technologies specifically to staffing business
- 15+ years of industry experience with at least 7+ years in leadership roles managing cross functional teams
- Experience dealing with C-level and senior executives internally and externally
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in direct or indirect sales
- Ability to drive implementation of a new process with support functions and drive adoption
- Ability to build and develop KPIs and success factors, measure and report
- Quick to course correct and make decisions
- Strong risk assessment skills
- Experience working with 3rd party staffing vendor
- Understanding dynamics around staffing business
Eligibility Requirements
- This role is open to internal candidates currently at the Senior Manager level or above.
- Applicants must be based in the United States due to business and operational requirements.
Wage Range
The annual starting salary for this position is between $150,000 - $185,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
