Job summary

McKesson seeks a Sr. Director, Segment Strategy – Supply Chain Operations to lead strategic workstreams for the SCO segment across the United States.

The role partners with senior leaders, translates complex value chain economics into actionable strategies, and drives execution with a hands-on approach. The position requires delivering high-impact analyses, managing small analytical teams, and influencing key stakeholders while ensuring alignment with business priorities and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy and leadership roles.
• 5+ years in distribution supply chain, pharma/healthcare distribution preferred.
• Ability to translate complex value chain economics into actionable decisions.
• Experience leading small analytical teams.
• Executive presence with ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives end-to-end from problem definition to execution.
• Analyze financial models and P&L implications of market shifts.
• Partner with leaders to craft and syndicate recommendations.
• Deliver compelling written and oral communications to senior audiences.
• Coach and develop one to three senior managers and analysts.
• Translate approved recommendations into implementation roadmaps.
