Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Director of Renewable Development to lead utility-scale project development in California. The role is remote with a base in the San Francisco area and will consider applicants in Los Angeles or San Diego.

You will manage wind, solar, storage, and related projects, drive early to late-stage development, secure site control, permits, and stakeholder engagement while coordinating with internal and external experts to meet budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Advanced degree in related discipline preferred.
• 8+ years' experience in energy project development, transmission, or power project engineering.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project site or offices.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of utility-scale renewable energy projects in California.
• Manage wind, solar, storage, and other projects within CA.
• Secure site control, negotiate leases and easements with landowners.
• Obtain local, state, and federal permits as needed.
• Represent Invenergy with customers, landowners, officials and stakeholders.
• Coordinate interconnection activities and manage budgets and schedules.
