Job summary

Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG in the United States is seeking a senior sales leader to formulate and execute multi-year strategies across U.S. municipal sectors. The role is remote for candidates living near a major airport, with eligibility for a performance bonus.

You will lead regional Sales Managers, target government entities and national accounts, recruit and develop dealer networks, and establish service standards to maximize vehicle uptime and territory growth across the country.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive sales leadership in cleaning equipment, municipal vehicles, street sweepers, or industrial machinery.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
• Proven track record of expanding dealer/distributor networks and managing multi-channel U.S. sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute multi-year sales strategies to drive revenue, margin, and market share across U.S. municipal sectors.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate regional Sales Managers to ensure forecasting accuracy and territory management.
• Target major government entities, large municipalities, and national accounts through direct sales and public procurement contracts.
• Recruit, evaluate, and manage municipal dealers to expand coverage with training and marketing toolkits.
• Establish dealer service standards for parts stocking, technician certification, and warranty execution.

• Deep understanding of municipal bidding, government procurement processes, and cooperative purchasing programs (e.g., Sourcewell, GSA).
• Technical comfort with complex machinery, hydraulics, attachment integration, and total cost of ownership (TCO) pr opositions, alongside 50–60% national travel availability .
