Job summary

OneEnergy in Seattle is seeking a Sr. Director of Electrical Engineering to guide the engineering team in long-term sighting and selection of system technologies for CS, DG, and Utility-Scale projects.

You will lead collaboration with the Directors of Delivery and Development Engineering, and interpret NTP, Offtake, and IPP contracts to optimize design direction. The role demands advanced technical skills, construction experience, licensing, and pricing understanding, with responsibility for

Qualifications

• Twelve+ years of hands-on PV system design experience in a professional environment.
• Experience navigating CS, DG, and Utility Scale design cycles from Concept to Energization.
• Stamping IX & Construction Sets as needed and knowledge of electrical/building codes.
• Ability to travel to project sites with an active driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee early-stage pricing effort with Preconstruction collaboration.
• Understand monetization paths and acquisition structures to align with design direction.
• Collaborate with Procurement to identify technology trends and AVL establishment.
• Support internal Delivery DG and LG set reviews.
• Provide senior engineering support on large utility-scale projects up to 345kV.
• Finalize specifications for Transformer, Inverter, Racking, Switchgear, and Communications.
