Location: This position may work remotely anywhere in the United States of America with significant business travel to and from prospect/client sites and/or the Quantum Health home office in Dublin, OH.

About The Role

We seek a visionary Sr. Director, Design to lead our design organization, partner with cross-functional teams, and drive our brand's creative evolution. You will report to the Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and oversee a talented team of designers, writers, and developers, especially during our rebranding efforts.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Oversee brand design, UX/UI, web development, copywriting, video production, and event design; collaborate with product teams.
  2. Brand Evolution: Lead modernization efforts, balancing innovation with respect for our history.
  3. Design Excellence: Define and maintain design systems and processes, ensuring consistency and quality.
  4. Team Building: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a diverse design team.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Product, and other units to deliver cohesive experiences.
  6. Executive Representation: Advocate for design at the executive level, emphasizing customer-centered approaches.
  7. Performance Management: Set and track OKRs and success metrics.
  8. Budget Oversight: Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  9. Industry Awareness: Stay current on trends and best practices.
  10. Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years in design leadership, including 6+ years in B2B marketing teams.
  • Proven success in building and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand, UX/UI, and marketing expertise.
  • Experience with scalable design systems and rebranding initiatives.
  • Knowledge of user research and data-driven design.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Healthcare or health tech experience is a plus.
  • Passion for human-centered design and customer needs.
  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and empower teams.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and driving innovation.
  • Technical skills including Microsoft Office and virtual communication tools.
  • High personal accountability and trustworthiness.
