Provide leadership, direction and administration of the business and administration operations of the clinical practices of the practice plan, in collaboration with the SCPA CAO, to ensure accomplishment of objectives of Pediatric Associates.

Job Summary

Provide leadership, direction and administration of the business and administration operations of the clinical practices of the practice plan, in collaboration with the SCPA CAO, to ensure accomplishment of objectives of Pediatric Associates.

Job Responsibilities
  • Works with hospital and medical staff leadership to chart and implement the practices' mission in response to the changing needs of the community.
  • Recommends, develops and updates strategic long-range plans to support the clinic's philosophy and goals.
  • Recommends and implements clinic policy positions regarding administrative and legislative matters.
  • Coordinates the monitoring of medical activities to ensure the fulfillment of the community's needs for quality health care.
  • Consults with relevant staff and departments prior to recommending and establishing new policies to ensure support and resources.
  • Monitors and coordinates budget variances and financial performance of the clinics.
  • Supports the Company's Compliance Department objectives with adherence to all regulatory bodies governing healthcare delivery.
  • Works with Practice clinical leadership, specialty physician leadership and clinical administrators to oversee all clinic activities,
  • Provides assistance to practice administrators, SCHC PA directors and other clinic personnel in establishing department philosophy and objectives related to staffing and performance standards, policies and procedures, job classifications, and compliance with government regulations.
  • Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere.
  • Oversees development and implementation of patient billing systems and reimbursement systems.
  • Maintains appropriate information systems and adherence to SCP A/RCM Policies and Procedures for patient accounting, communications and management information systems.
  • Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional growth and development to keep current in the latest trends in practice administration.
  • Performs related work as required or assigned.
