Job summary

Endeavor Health's Mammography department seeks a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant Senior- Front desk Admin to greet patients, schedule visits, and verify information at Glenbrook Hospital. This role supports day-shift operations with per diem flexibility and a patient-first approach.

The position requires a high school diploma and CPR certification, with 1–2 years of supervisory secretarial experience and medical terminology preferred. Proficiency in word processing and typing 25–35 wpm is expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with issues in the Mammography department.
• Schedule, check in, register, and verify patient information.
• Input patient information into the EPIC system with high accuracy.
• Maintain proper documentation and courteous patient contact.
• Contact doctors' offices and patients to obtain orders.
• Regular communication with technical staff.
• Assist with related secretarial duties as needed.

Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Diagnostic Imaging Assistant Senior- Front desk Admin - Mammography Dept.
• Location: Glenbrook Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: PRN, per diem
• Hours: Day shift: Day shift 7-3:30, rotating weekends, varies
• Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
• Required Travel: Yes- local

What you will need:

• Education: High School degree or equivalent
• Certification: CPR certification required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of prior secretarial supervisory experience and medical terminology preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm .

What you will do:

• Greet all patients coming into the Mammography department and assist with patient issues
• Schedule, check in, register, and verify information for patients
• Input patient information into the EPIC system with high accuracy
• Responsible for other related duties as requested, with an emphasis on proper documentation and courteous patient contact
• Contacts doctors' offices and patients as needed to obtain order
• Regular communication with technical staff
• Assisting with secretarial duties as needed.
