Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant Senior at the Evanston Hospital Mammography Department. The role entails front desk administration, patient check-in, scheduling, and accurate data entry in the EPIC system.

The position requires a high school diploma, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of secretarial supervisory experience with medical terminology familiarity. Per diem and flexible day hours are available, with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities

• Greet all patients coming into the Mammography department and assist with patient issues.
• Schedule, check in, register, and verify information for patients.
• Input patient information into the EPIC system with high accuracy.
• Responsible for other related duties as requested, with an emphasis on proper documentation and courteous patient contact.
• Contacts doctors' offices and patients as needed to obtain orders.
• Regular communication with technical staff.

Hourly Pay Range

$19.89 - $28.84 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Diagnostic Imaging Assistant Senior- Front desk Admin - Mammography Dept.
• Location: Evanston Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: PRN, per diem
• Hours: Day shift: Day shift 7-3:30, rotating weekends, varies
• Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
• Required Travel: Yes- local

What you will need

• Education: High School degree or equivalent
• Certification: CPR certification required.
• Experience: 1-2 years of prior secretarial supervisory experience and medical terminology preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency with word processing and computer skills required; typing 25-35 wpm.

What you will do
