Summary of Role:SunPower is seeking a results-oriented, highly analytical leader that will be responsible for the development and accuracy of the demand plan. The Sr. Demand Planner will own the full lifecycle forecast; engaging with sales and operations teams on developing a bottom’s up demand plan, and product and engineering teams to build a longer-term financially aligned demand plan. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of forecasting models and has a passion for continuous improvement using data-driven models. This role will provide an opportunity for ongoing systems and process development. The Sr. Demand Planner will lead various cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment of SunPower’s forecast and provide leadership and guidance as a key member of SunPower’s S&OP team. The ideal candidate is an owner, thrives in a data-driven environment, and enjoys analytical deep dives and problem-solving. This position has high visibility to SPWR executive decision-making and contributes substantively to SPWR’s financial performance. This role can be virtual, with a preference that the candidate has proximity to one of SPWR’s corporate offices in Austin, TX, Richmond, CA, or Tempe, AZ. The position will require minimal travel, but travel once per quarter may be necessary.
