The Role:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sr. Demand Planner with a customer focus to manage forecasting inputs for inventory requirements and oversee related project management for the Amazon Go business. The team values entrepreneurial spirit, versatility, and collaboration in a startup-like environment. The Sr. Demand Planner will develop short and long-term sell-through, inventory, and buying forecasts, analyze data, and optimize processes to ensure excellent inventory availability and health. They will also lead initiatives to enhance sales, customer experience, and operational performance.

The Team:

Our small, passionate team is dedicated to delivering an excellent customer experience daily. The Sr. Demand Planner will collaborate closely with the Instock team, Vendor Managers, Category Managers, Product Management, S&OP Manager, internal vendors, and other Amazon units to improve the in-store experience for customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of experience with Excel
• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience
• Experience working with complex data sets
• Ability to communicate results effectively to senior leadership
• Knowledge of statistics or analytical techniques

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SQL
