Job Description
EHCG is seeking an experienced Sr. Database Administrator (DBA) with ten years of experience in DOD/Federal projects to support a critical government project.

Key Responsibilities

1. Install, configure, monitor, and maintain database systems (e.g., MS SQL, Oracle, Access) for performance, reliability, and data integrity.
2. Implement security measures aligned with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
3. Maintain database software according to security requirements, including DOD STIGs.
4. Perform backup, recovery, capacity planning, performance tuning, and disaster recovery.
5. Lead a team of Junior DBAs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application development.
6. Design and modify databases and schemas based on user requirements and best practices.
7. Support database development, testing, and validation using tools like Python, SQL, and VBA.
8. Manage access controls, user roles, and data replication across environments.
9. Conduct risk analyses for system changes and support security testing.
10. Create documentation such as procedures, user guides, and system configurations.
11. Stay current with industry trends and best practices to improve database performance and security.

Location: Remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia, PA.

Requirements

• Active DOD Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• IAT III certification (CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP).
• Minimum 10 years' experience with Oracle, MS SQL, and MS Access databases.
• Experience with Python, Microsoft SQL Server, Access, and VBA.
• Strong DOD RMF & NIST experience.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
