Introduction

As part of a cross-functional team, the CC&B Oracle DBA will be responsible for implementing Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), log aggregation, data migrations, and ongoing data maintenance, adjusting data patterns based on business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Oracle database architecture, SQL, PL/SQL, and database management systems.
• Experience designing and implementing data models supporting CC&B applications.
• Skills in optimizing database performance through indexing, query tuning, and configuration.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Middleware for system integration.
• Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services for data integration.
• Understanding of security measures, including encryption and access controls.
• Awareness of data management regulations and best practices.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve database issues efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and insights.
• Experience managing database projects aligned with business goals and timelines.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts.
• Leadership capabilities to mentor junior staff and lead projects.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Automation scripting skills in Shell, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems for Oracle environment management.
• Knowledge of Tibco & Boomi integration tools.
