  • Develop and optimize data pipelines in dbt, ensuring data quality and reliability
  • Utilize Python and SQL for notebook-based exploration and sophisticated ad-hoc analyses
  • Present and communicate data findings and methodology to commercial stakeholders
  • Partner with Data Engineers to implement robust data infrastructure for complex analyses
  • Mentor junior team members and provide constructive feedback within your team
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities to deliver impact within your squad
  • Solve hard problems that require depth of expertise in your domain
  • Proactively take on new challenges and projects to better the team
Skills and Experience

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience developing and maintaining data pipelines in dbt
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and notebook-based explorations
  • Ability to translate business problems into structured analytical approaches
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with ability to influence decision-making within the team
  • Analytical ability and understanding of statistical methods
  • Experience decomposing ambiguous problems and executing on solutions
  • Proactive attitude, ownership mentality, and growth mindset
  • Ability to accurately represent your work and its value to partners within Cedar
