Enterprise Mobility operates the Enterprise Rent‑A‑Car, National Car Rental, and Alamo brands and is hiring a Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr). The CAR Sr will deliver high‑quality service by assisting customers face‑to‑face and by phone at home‑city branches or airport locations in Michigan.

Salary is $18.00 per hour with locations in Sturgis and Coldwater; role requires working at both offices and involves reservations, quotes, and general administrative support to ensure smooth

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.
• Customer service or sales experience required.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, and general questions; provide information and resolution.
• Manage outgoing calls for callbacks and miscellaneous inquiries.
• Provide high level of customer service in person and over the phone.
• Meet and greet customers warmly and assist with directions and general info.
• Assess rental needs and conditions at return; process returns and check‑ins.
• Market the company while assisting customers during pickup or drop‑off.
• Explain rental terms, vehicle features, and available services.
• Offer optional protections, upgrades, fuel options and equipment.
• Notify management of vehicle problems and maintenance needs.
• Perform administrative tasks: billing support, accounts receivable, logs, reports, and supplies.

The Enterprise brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Assistance Representative Sr (CAR Sr). The CAR Sr will provide a high level of customer service by assisting both internal and external customers through face‑to‑face interaction and by phone. The CAR Sr will gain knowledge through local training and hands‑on experience to provide rental back‑up, serve customers, and deliver administrative support in home‑city branches or airport locations.

Salary: $18.00 / hour. Locations: Sturgis Office – 114‑A S Centerville Rd, Sturgis, MI 49091 and Coldwater Office – 418 E Chicago St, Coldwater, MI 49036. This position requires working at both locations.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming calls – reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, insurance companies, dealerships, repair shops and other vendors.
• Manage outgoing calls for callback management, A/Rs and miscellaneous calls as assigned.
• Provide a high level of customer service by assisting customers and assessing their rental needs in person and over the phone.
• Meet and greet customers in a friendly and timely manner.
• Provide directions and general assistance.
• Assist to assess condition of rental upon return.
• Process returns, check‑ins and exit kiosk transactions.
• Effectively market the company while picking up customers and/or dropping off customers in a safe and courteous manner and assisting customers as needed.
• Understand and communicate rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services.
• May sell optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment.
• Responsible for notifying Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance.
• Clean vehicle interior and exterior by hand or by operating washing equipment when needed.
• Perform various administrative and basic accounting functions such as: research and billing support tasks, accounts receivables, transfer and key logs, run miscellaneous reports, supply maintenance, process customer billing.
• Perform miscellaneous and backup duties job‑related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company now or in the future.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI).
