PremiStar in Monona, WI is seeking a Senior Controls Technician to program, commission, troubleshoot, and service commercial HVAC Building Automation Systems (BAS). You will start up systems, diagnose issues, and deliver high-quality workmanship while supporting project teams and customers on site and remotely as needed.
The role requires 5–7 years in controls, strong knowledge of BAS platforms (Tridium, WebCTRL, Honeywell, etc.), and the ability to mentor junior technicians.
The Senior Controls Technician is responsible for programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining commercial HVAC Building Automation Systems (BAS). This position ensures control systems operate efficiently by performing system start-up, diagnostics, and commissioning while delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship. As a technical expert, the Senior Controls Technician serves as a resource for other technicians by providing advanced troubleshooting support and may lead field activities on assigned projects. This role works closely with Project Managers, Programmers, Engineers, Account Managers, and customers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
