Job description

*This is a remote position that does require 30% travel*

What You’ll Do:

1. Innovate and Lead: Develop cutting-edge automation system solutions and collaborate with Project Managers to create migration roadmaps, program plans, and cost estimates. Partner with Business Development Managers to craft and deliver compelling proposals.
2. Mentor and Guide: Support Project Managers as the Lead Engineer, planning, scheduling, and coordinating technical aspects of projects. Mentor early-career engineers, fostering their growth and development.
3. Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings, addressing and resolving technical issues to ensure project success.
4. Drive Excellence: Ensure the project team adheres to EN Automation’s engineering processes, design tools, and best practices to optimize project performance.
5. Document and Align: Develop and document system requirements, test plans, and commissioning plans, ensuring alignment with control system design and development activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Minimum of 5 years of automation and controls
3. Knowledge of multiple industry leading vendor platforms, architectures, and data communications for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems such as, but not limited to, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Inductive Automation, Aveva/Wonderware, Emerson, and ABB.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners (both internal and external to the company)
2. Good understanding of system data collection, database management, and data analytics that support client’s business decisions
