Job description

OCT Consulting is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT has multiple openings for analysts with specialized experience in contract closeout activities, including financial analysis and reconciliation to support funding de-obligation and contract closeout.

Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant contract closeout experience as a federal government employee, member of the Armed Forces, or contractor. Expertise in closing all contract types (Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Reimbursement, and hybrid) and IAAs is required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success.

Requirements
Qualifications

  • A minimum of ten (10) years of federal contract closeout experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite including Excel and SharePoint
  • Experience with PRISM and FFMS is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Federal contract closeout processes and procedures
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (the investigation will involve a credit, fingerprint, and law enforcement agency check)
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be located within the United States and available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
